couples looking to enjoy a laid back getaway on the North Shore, surrounded by lush tropical greenery
This bungalow is the perfect size for a romantic couple’s getaway. The inside space is cozy and intimate and open air bathroom is both private and spacious. The owners of the bunglow live next door, but a stay at the bungalow promises plenty of privacy. This cozy home has its own gate, driveway, and entrance. There is no air conditioning in this space, but that’s common on Oahu. Opening the screened windows found on several sides of the bungalow creates a cross breeze that keeps the bungalow cool.
Kitchenette with cooking basics, wifi, tv, linens, towels + beach towels, shampoo + conditioner, parking on site, yard, picnic table
Pack or plan to purchase sunscreen for your days at the beach and bug spray if you plan to hike. There isn’t a washer or dryer in this home, so consider packing more than one swim suit so you can let one dry while you wear the other.

WITHIN ARM'S REACH
One of the easiest ways to explore the North Shore of Oahu is by car. From the bungalow, a five minute drive down the hill takes you to some of the best beaches and surfing in Hawaii, possibly the world! Sunset Beach is known for surf competitions and incredible views as the sun goes down. There is also a Foodland grocery store at the bottom of the hill, the perfect place to grab a bottle of water, snack, or anything else you might need for your North Shore adventure. Grab lunch or dinner at any of the food trucks gathered across the road from Sunset Beach and stop at The Sunrise Shack for acai bowls, smoothies, and coffee for breakfast. Visit family friendly Waimea Valley to learn more about local culture and tradition. Additional dining and shopping can be found in the neighboring town of Haleiwa. We recommend V-land Taco Truck and Bonsai Sushi Bar for fresh island eats.
Honolulu’s airport is about an hour from the bungalow by car.
